| Our Business Model
Carlson Systems Engineering, LLC was founded
in 1974 to support its parent organization with specialized
and custom designed packaging and fastening machines. Today
the division designs and manufactures customized product
assembly machines with the latest technology and varying
degrees of automation. The systems can be relatively simple
to highly complex multi-task production systems, depending
on the needs of the customer.
Carlson Systems Engineering serves over
200 industry leading manufacturers, primarily in the cabinet,
furniture, millwork and storm door industries. Our machines
have earned a solid reputation for continuous design and
structural improvement. Each project takes full advantage
of proven Carlson structural foundations and systems and
utilizes high quality purchased components that are readily
available throughout the United States. This combination
results in continually improving machine quality, reliability
and productivity which leads to superior performance on
the job.

In order
“To Be The Best” we have set exacting standards
for every phase of design and manufacture. To guarantee
these standards, each phase of design and manufacturing
is done in-house to assure complete quality control.
During production customers are kept advised of progress
and compliance with end-product specifications. Upon
completion, each machine must meet the test of producing
the actual product to the complete agreed upon specifications. |
In May 2003, Carlson Holdings, Inc. purchased
Wegoma, Inc. to strengthen Carlson Systems Engineering’s
presence in the fenestration industry. Carlson Systems Engineering
manufactured machines primarily for the wood-to-wood industry,
and the Wegoma operation would support the market in the
vinyl and aluminum industries as well.
Wegoma, Inc. has been serving the North
American fenestration industry since 1981. During that time,
they established an unparalleled reputation for product
innovation, engineering expertise and full-service technical
support for window and door fabrication. From Carlson Systems
Engineering’s 65,000 square foot headquarters and
manufacturing facility in Twinsburg, Ohio, we design, build
and provide the industry’s most comprehensive product
line.
