Holdings Announces Acquisition of Mid-Atlantic Fasteners PRESS RELEASE CARLSON HOLDINGS, INC. COMPLETES OMAHA, NE -- Carlson Holdings, Inc., a leader in product assembly systems, announces the completion of their acquisition of Mid-Atlantic Fasteners, a distribution company committed to providing customers with quality products and services primarily for the fastening and packaging industries. Mid-Atlantic Fasteners was founded in 1948 and has 23 Sales Offices and Distribution Centers located in Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Virginia, with its corporate offices located in Jessup, Maryland. The key to the acquisition is the great culture fit of the two organizations. Carlson Holdings, Inc. is the holding company for Carlson Systems, LLC, Carlson Systems Engineering, LLC, with manufacturing facilities in Omaha, NE and Twinsburg, OH, and Advanced Connector Systems, LLC. Carlson Systems, founded in 1947, is a distributor of packaging, fastening and construction supplies and equipment with over 35 locations throughout the United States and Mexico. Carlson Systems Engineering was founded in 1974 to support its parent organization with specialized and custom designed packaging and fastening machines primarily for use in the cabinet, furniture, millwork, storm door and window industries. Advanced Connector Systems is a metal forming and fabricating company, based in Tempe, Arizona, focused toward the framing and construction industry.
